Dr. Bill Schiek, Executive Director, Dairy Institute of California: Bill has been Executive Director of Dairy Institute of California since January 2020. Prior to assuming his current position, he was Dairy Institute’s Economist from 1997-2019. Bill was Assistant Professor of Agriculture Economics at Purdue University from 1991 to 1997 and was previously employed (1982-1985) as Cooperative Relations Specialist and Research Economist with the New York-New Jersey Milk Market Administrator (USDA). Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University (1982), and Master of Science (1988) and Ph. D (1991) degrees in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida.
