Bob Sarver became President and CEO of Great Lakes Cheese in 2024, having joined the company in 2018. Over the years, Bob has held a variety of leadership roles in continuous improvement, operations, and sales, contributing to the company’s continued growth. He previously was responsible for operations across six state-of-the-art packaging facilities, including the nation’s largest natural cheese packaging facility located in Hiram, Ohio.
Bob grew up on a farm and loves that Great Lakes Cheese allows him to maintain a connection to his roots. He is committed to exceptional service – to customers, Great Lakes Cheese employee-owners, suppliers, communities, and industry partners. He is passionate about collaborating with his peers to strengthen the dairy industry for the benefit of everyone. He prioritizes fostering long-term relationships and reinforcing Great Lakes Cheese’s ownership culture.
Prior to joining Great Lakes Cheese, Bob spent 12 years at Mead Johnson Nutrition, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, including Site Director for the company’s flagship manufacturing campus. Outside of work, Bob and his wife Tara stay busy with their four sons, who keep life full of sports, academics, and shenanigans.
