Working for Abbott since March 2011 in Global Supply Operations, Abbott Nutrition.
Previously worked at Mead Johnson Nutrition (MJN) as a Global Category Leader, in charge of securing and managing global nutritional ingredients. Preceding this position Gustavo was the Raw Materials Manager for MJN - North America Strategic Sourcing, which included the procurement of dairy, agriculture and chemical commodities.
Before MJN, Gustavo worked for GRUMA Corp, in the Corn Milling Industry, functioning as Corn Operations Manager for the Midwest region handling all operations, logistics, quality, management and supply of corn.
Worked for Monsanto in Mexico in charge of the South Regional Sales.
Graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN with a MS in Applied Economics.
Graduated from Monterrey Tech, Monterrey, Mexico with a MS in Agribusiness and previously with a BS in Engineering.
Born and raised in Mexico, emigrated to the US in 1999, and became an American citizen in 2013
Gustavo is a competitive Skeet Shooter; he is the actual 2021 - 12 gauge Ohio State Skeet Champion and has participated in the World Skeet Shooting competition in several occasions
