I am a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in the dairy industry. I grew up in Orange County California and spent most of my career there while raising my family. I have been with my amazing wife for 12 years, and I am a proud father of 4 incredible children. I moved my family for the first time in my career to the San Joaquin Valley to serve as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Producers Dairy - Shehadey Family Foods. Being a part of the Central Valley has shown me how important community really is to me. The Fresno community has become home, and I take pride in being involved with community-based organizations that serve our residents.
Prior to coming to the Central Valley in 2018, my experience includes working for family-owned dairies, such as Hollandia Dairy, working for super regional broadline foodservice distributor, also owned by a dairy family, Shamrock Foods, and working at the largest dairy company in the United States. From these experiences, I learned that great organizations and brands are not born overnight, but built through hard work, dedicated leadership, and a deep commitment to doing the right thing. I believe my experiences as a leader in the dairy industry prepare me to provide strategic leadership and direction on ice cream segment specific issues, furthering the goal of IDFA to have a strong unified voice in IDFA’s legislative, regulatory and communications efforts on behalf of the members and the dairy industry.
I am humbled and grateful for what the dairy industry has done for my family and me. I tell people the dairy business is “urgent” from the time the milk leaves the cow all the way through the production and selling process; I am committed to this sense of urgency and dedicated to providing our communities and families with the high-quality products they deserve. It is both personally and professionally rewarding to help steward and grow a company like Producers Dairy that I genuinely care so deeply for. I want to further my impact in the dairy industry through my leadership in IDFA. Although I have spent the last 25 years in the industry, I am passionate about continuing to learn and help those around me.
