Seandra Williams is with the Office of General Industry and Agricultural Enforcement (GIAE) under the Directorate of Enforcement Programs at OSHA’s National Office. Ms. Williams responsibilities as a Compliance Safety and Health Specialist include providing advice to employers, employees, and OSHA Regional and Area Offices.
Before joining the National Office, during her career as a Compliance Safety and Health Officer, she inspected several general industry and construction facilities to verify OSHA compliance and investigated several workplace incidents and explosions.
Additionally, during her time as Compliance Assistance Specialist for the Wilkes-Barre Area Office, she oversaw the Alliance Program, Partnership Program, Voluntary Protection Program, and conducted outreach training and education offering compliance assistance to businesses, business associations, labor affiliates, and other stakeholders.
In Ms. Williams 13 years with OSHA, she earned the Secretary of Labor Exceptional Achievement Award and the Secretary of Labor Award for Worker Protection. She was also bestowed the honorary title of “The Arkansas Traveler” for protection of workers awarded by the Arkansas Secretary of State Mark Martin and Governor Asa Hutchinson.
Ms. Williams earned her Bioenvironmental Engineering Certification through the School of Aerospace Medicine with the U.S. Air Force and is currently working on a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
