Tahir Boykins focuses his practice on a wide variety of complex commercial litigation, labor and employment disputes, and white-collar investigations.
Tahir’s litigation experience in both state and federal court includes a range of business disputes, insurance coverage, trademark infringement and consumer protection matters. He has demonstrated a strong record of efficiently managing all phases of complex litigation and achieving favorable results for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Tahir’s extensive labor and employment experience includes defending clients against claims involving harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, whistleblower, and related claims. He has also advised both entity and individual clients on various issues such as employment and severance agreements, internal code of conduct investigations, and compliance with federal, state, and local leave policies. Tahir recently completed a secondment position with a firm client where he worked for a leading multinational healthcare and insurance company’s labor and employment team. His responsibilities included providing regular HR counseling and support on employment issues including wage and hour compliance, paid and unpaid leave obligations, restrictive covenant enforcement, outside counsel management, and internal investigations.
Tahir has also represented clients in California state criminal investigations, focusing primarily on money laundering and related financial crimes.
