Income growth patterns will spread buying power across many more nations in the years to come, according to economic projections. That growth is likely to occur in regions that will be challenged to produce enough milk and food to meet the increased demand.
This January at Dairy Forum, international dairy co-op leaders will discuss the challenges of moving dairy products from traditional or emerging dairy production regions to areas where demand for dairy is on the rise. Dairy Forum will be held January 24-27 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.
Moderated by Jay Waldvogel, senior vice president of strategy and global development at Dairy Farmers of America, the session will feature five panelists from large international dairy cooperatives. They will share their experience, and discuss how dairy can maximize the opportunities presented by the upcoming shifts in population, economic power and consumer demand.
