WASHINGTON, May 23, 2024 - The International Dairy Foods (IDFA) submitted written comments to the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC) to address scientific questions and identify references for the committee in their consideration of the latest available science that will inform the next set of Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
IDFA appreciates the work of the DGAC and agency staff to examine a number of important scientific questions to help Americans build a healthy diet. IDFA will continue to encourage the DGAC to consider references that support the inclusion of nutrient-rich dairy products in diets that support good nutrition and healthy lives.
