A Deeper Look at Milk and Competing Beverage Price Elasticities

In 2022, IDFA and MilkPEP joint-funded a new milk price elasticity study, A Deeper Look at Milk and Competing Beverage Price Elasticities, authored by Texas A&M University Professors Dr. Ariun Ishdorj and Dr. Oral Capps, Jr. The study looked at multiple datasets across a longitudinal period of over five years (Jan 2017 – May 2022), employing a wide range of statistical and metaanalyses.

The methodology and findings were previewed and vetted by an IDFA steering committee and representative MilkPEP Board members.
