IDFA presented an informative webinar where Ecolab's subject matter experts shared the latest biosecurity best practices for managing risks presented by H5N1 in dairy farm and processing operations.

During this session, participants gained valuable insights into the biosecurity protocols specifically tailored to dairy farm and processing operations, including:

  1. Understanding the known transmission routes
  2. Implementing effective biosecurity measures to mitigate risks posed by H5N1, including introduction and spread within dairy herds, and risks to farm workers and processing plant employees.
  3. Best practices for enhancing on-farm and processing facility hygiene, including cleaning and disinfection strategies.
